Hummingbird – The "Nurturer". Hummingbirds naturally soothe and heal. They are symbols of love, beauty and compassion. A Hummingbird brings comfort to those all around it. Made by using a single piece of recycled or salvaged western redcedar, this bentwood box traditionally would have been used to store precious possessions. Spirit Works is a 100% indigenous owned and operated BC company focused on the creation and distribution of authentic indigenousl products. Artist Shain Jackson is a Coast Salish Artist from the community of Sechelt. He is also a lawyer who has represented indigenous communities throughout British Columbia.
